Individual Puppy Home Training Package

Service Description

This very individual service offers a different path to training your puppy from the traditional class approach. It suits those who work shifts or do not wish to work in a formal training environment. Your trainer will visit your home on four occasions to discuss raising your puppy, training your puppy and practising your training with your pup. The first session lasts 2 hours, during which your training needs are discussed, an outline training plan is drawn up, and the initial training is conducted. Three follow-up sessions are then booked to review the plan and move the pup forward in its training. Each of these sessions would be between an hour and one and a half hours. We work with you to cover any aspect of puppy rearing you wish, with the following being generally included. Teething issues Toilet training Crate training Food manners Recall - coming when called Gate and door control Sit, stay and down training Pulling on the lead & walking Playing nicely Effective socialisation with dogs and people Jumping up Learning to leave objects After each session, you will receive a written training plan with additional information and videos to help with your training. Follow-up sessions would be fortnightly (preferred) or monthly if you wish. You would also have personal advice via email for the duration of the training (up to 3 months) on all issues as they crop up. So you would have a trainer in your back pocket at all times. Puppies must be under 22 weeks at the start of the course.
