Agility Beginners Course 15th Sept 25
Fun Agility training, exercise for dog and handler
Available spots
Service Description
Indoor training on a very safe surface in an enclosed arena. Agility allows the dog to exercise both physically and mentally and is good exercise for the owner too. The six-week beginner course teaches both the dog and handler how to navigate most of the equipment safely and we will guide you through all the basics of learning how to run Agility courses and how to develop drive in your dog. To be able to access the training, dogs need to be at least 9 months old, have basic obedience, and should be able to stay for 20 seconds and have a recall. If your dog does not have these skills yet, please book into obedience classes first. As with Rally, we cannot accept dogs with behavioural or reactivity issues. Please ensure you have read all our terms and conditions on the website. You must have a collar and 6ft training lead with you, as well as some treats and a toy. It is advisable to bring a mat for the dog to lay on when not working and human clothing should suit working in a rubber and sand-based horse arena. We do not allow a dog to wear a harness or coat when doing agility, as they could easily be caught on the equipment. All handlers are expected to help erect and put away equipment, taking into account their physical abilities.
